My name is David Crawford and I have lived in Lafayette for the last 16 or so years of my life. I am 19 years old and have been with Las Trampas since I was 8. I went to school at Lafayette Elementary, Stanley, Campolindo (where I played water polo and swam all four years), and I now go to Sonoma State University where I am majoring in Biology. I am an Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop 204 and have been a lifeguard for the last 4 or 5 years. I love working with kids and helping them by sharing my knowledge of the wondrous sport of swimming. In high school, I swam just about everything from the 50 free to the 500 free. Senior year, my main events were the 200 and 500 free, though I would swim the 100 free on occasion.

Since graduating from Campo last year (class of 2009), I have continued to swim on my own about 3 times a week if not more and have picked up running and biking as well. Among many other things, I enjoy rock climbing, hanging out with my friends, listening to music, and helping others.

I can't wait for the 2010 season to begin. It should be an amazing summer for all of us! Go LT!
